Making a perfect chocolate mousse doesn’t always have to be a challenge. This easy recipe will bring you to heaven on earth, with little effort and ingredients. If this doesn’t sound perfect, I don’t know what else will. Warning, prone to crave more.
This is what you need

6 serves – 25 min:
- 375 gr milk chocolate
- 5 egg whites
- 112 gr sugar
- 375 ml whipped cream
Let’s get started
Melt the chocolate au bain marie in a bowl over a pan of hot water.
Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff in a fat-free bowl. Add the sugar little by little while mixing.
In another bowl, whip the cream until stiff.
Carefully spoon the melted chocolate into the cream, and when it is absorbed, carefully add the egg whites. Do not beat too long or you will whisk out the air.
Divide the chocolate mousse among 6 cups and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. To serve, top the chocolate mousse with some grated chocolate.

That’s it! It really is just that easy, yet oh-so-yummy. New guilty pleasure? Check!
